Tandem bike Rentals

• $40 for 2 hours

Level 1 - "Make It Safe" - $120

• Inflate tires to optimal pressure

• Lubricate chain and other moving parts

• Secure all nuts, bolts and quick releases

• Fine-tune brakes, gears, hubs and headset

• Straighten wheels for smooth braking

• Inspect the whole bike for any damage or wear that may affect safety

• Test ride the bike and make any final adjustments

• Charge extra for installing any new parts

Level 2 - "Make It Work" - $210

• Check and tighten all external fittings to the correct torque

• Optimize gear and brake performance

• Align disc brake rotors and clean brake pads

• Lubricate derailleurs and brakes where needed

• Replace worn or compressed derailleur housing

• Adjust headset, bottom bracket and hubs for smooth operation

• Secure cassette and freewheel

• True and tension wheels in a truing stand with tires mounted

• Cap all cables, valves and housing for a neat finish

• Clean rims with steel wool if needed

• Install any new parts at no extra labour cost

Level 3 - "Make It Nice" - $300

• Lubricate cables where necessary

• Grease hubs and lower headset cup where needed

• True, tension and dish wheels with tires removed

• Clean frame, fork and wheels with a mild detergent

• Remove and clean cassette and chain rings

• Remove, clean and lubricate rear derailleur pulleys

• Align rear derailleur hanger if necessary

• Remove cartridge bottom bracket and grease threads where appropriate

• Offer 50% off on any additional procedures

• Improve set-up where practical (Make it nice!)
